Professional hospice care that respects you and your family's traditions and values.
At Serenitas, we respect and honor the unique cultures, traditions, and core values of our patients and their families, providing exceptional hospice care in California. Our Care Team can communicate in the language of the family’s choice, allowing the family to focus on the situation at hand without unnecessary complications.
Our approach to care is based on our experience of making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Our name means Serenity, Peacefulness and Tranquility. Kindness guides our actions and the patient’s comfort will guide our efforts.
Hospice care is typically provided in the patient's home, but it may also be provided in assisted living facilities, and freestanding hospice centers. We are committed to providing exceptional in-home care, taking some of the burden off of the family of the patient and providing a more comforting environment.
The focus of hospice is on comfort and support, rather than curative treatment. Hospice care relies on the combined knowledge and skills of a team of professionals to coordinate care tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient and family.
The peace of mind of the patient and family is enhanced by the support they receive from the hospice care team. Our team can guide discussions that bring patient and family wishes to light, and help assure that they are realized.
At Serenitas, we offer care that allows caregivers, especially ones new to the situation to relax. We offer emotional and physical support, and teach the primary caregiver how to best take care of their loved one, and themselves during this event.
Serenitas are the professionals you and your family need for services provided in your home health services. We make sure your hospice caretaker is someone who will support you, your family, and your traditions. We provide the utmost respect and dignity to those we assist.
In the event of an emergency, or simply to ask a question, our patients and families have 24/7 telephone access to our nursing staff. If we are not able to address an issue over the telephone, a nurse will be dispatched to the patient's home and will continue until the issue is resolved.
